This Privacy Policy explains how DynPro India Private Limited (“DynPro India”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you visit www.dynproindia.com, contact us, apply for a role with us, or otherwise interact with us through this website.

DynPro India is part of the DynPro group. Other group websites, including www.dynpro.com, operate under their own privacy policies. This policy covers this website only.

We have written it in plain language. If anything is unclear, please write to us at privacy@dynproindia.com and we will explain it.

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, DynPro India acts as a Data Fiduciary in relation to the personal data described in this policy, and you are the Data Principal.

Our registered office is a statutory address. Our operating offices in India are in Bengaluru, Pune and Mohali, and are listed on our Contact page.

3. Personal data we collect

We collect only what we need.

Information you give us

  • Your name, email address, telephone number and company name, when you complete our contact form
  • The content of any message you send us
  • Any correspondence you send to our published email addresses

Information relating to job applications

Applications for roles at DynPro India are handled through a third-party recruitment platform reached from our Careers pages. Information you submit there, which may include your CV, contact details, employment history and qualifications, is collected and processed by that platform on our behalf, under contract with us.

If you email careers@dynproindia.com directly, we receive whatever you choose to send.

Information collected automatically

  • Pages viewed, time on site, referring website, approximate location, device and browser type. This is collected through Google Analytics, using Google Tag Manager, and only if you consent to analytics cookies.
  • IP address, request details and timestamps, recorded in our server and security logs for operational and security purposes.
  • Your cookie preferences, recorded by our consent management tool so that we can honour your choice.

What we do not collect

We do not operate accounts, newsletters or online payments on this website. We do not knowingly collect information from children. We do not buy personal data from third parties, and we do not sell yours.

4. Why we use your data, and on what basis

The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 allows us to process your personal data either with your consent, or for one of the legitimate uses the Act sets out. Both apply here.

  • To respond to your enquiry. We use the information in your contact form or email. We rely on your consent, given when you submit the form, and on the fact that you provided the information to us voluntarily for that very purpose, which the Act treats as a legitimate use.
  • To provide our services and manage client relationships. We use your contact and correspondence details, with your consent and on the basis of the information you give us for the purpose of the engagement.
  • To consider you for a role. We use the information in your application, with your consent.
  • To understand how this site is used, so that we can improve it. We use analytics data, with your consent.
  • To keep the site secure and available. We use server and security logs, which are necessary to operate and protect the website you have chosen to visit, and the people who visit it.
  • To meet our legal obligations. We use whatever information the law in force in India requires us to.

We use your data only for the purpose you gave it for. If we ever want to use it for something else, we will ask you first.

Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time, and withdrawing is as straightforward as giving it. Withdrawal does not affect anything we did before you withdrew, and it does not affect anything we are required by law to keep.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

Necessary cookies keep the site working. They remember your cookie choices and support security. These cannot be switched off.

Analytics cookies help us understand how the site is used. These are set only if you accept them.

When you first visit, a banner lets you accept all, reject all, or choose by category. Rejecting is as easy as accepting. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link in our footer.

6. Who we share your data with

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. We share it only in the following situations.

  • With other DynPro group companies, where an enquiry relates to services delivered by another part of the group, or where group functions support our response.
  • With service providers acting on our instructions — website hosting, email delivery, analytics, our recruitment platform and security monitoring. Each is bound by contract to process data only as we direct.
  • With professional advisers — lawyers, auditors and insurers — where necessary.
  • With authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information, or where we must establish or defend legal claims.

7. Where your data goes

DynPro operates from India, the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, and some of our service providers operate internationally. Your personal data may therefore be transferred outside India.

Any such transfer is made in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, including any restrictions notified by the Central Government on transfers to particular countries. Wherever your data is held, it remains subject to this policy and to contracts requiring it to be handled as we direct.

8. How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes described above, or as long as the law requires. In normal circumstances:

  • Enquiries that do not lead to a relationship: 24 months
  • Client contact and correspondence: the duration of the relationship, and then 7 years
  • Job applications from unsuccessful candidates: 12 months
  • Analytics data: 14 months
  • Server and security logs: 12 months
  • Cookie consent records: 24 months

When data is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it so that it can no longer identify you.

9. How we protect it

We take reasonable security safeguards to prevent a personal data breach, as the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 requires. These include encrypted connections across the website, access controls limiting who can reach personal data, security monitoring, and regular backups.

We also require the service providers who handle data on our behalf to protect it under contract.

No system is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise. If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India in the manner the Act requires.

10. Your rights

Your rights under Indian law

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you have the right to:

  • Obtain a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is being processed
  • Obtain the identities of other Data Fiduciaries and Data Processors with whom it has been shared, and a description of what was shared
  • Correction, completion, updating and erasure of your personal data
  • Withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it
  • Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity
  • Raise a grievance with us, and receive a response within the period prescribed by law

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Your duties

The Act also asks something of you. When you exercise these rights, please give us information that is accurate, and do not raise a complaint you know to be false or register a grievance under someone else’s identity. We mention it because the Act does. In practice we simply ask that you deal with us honestly, as we will with you.

If you are outside India

This policy is written for Indian law, which is the law this website is operated under. If you are elsewhere and your local law gives you rights beyond those above, write to us and tell us what you need. We will do our best to help, whether or not we are obliged to.

Where we take on work for a client in another jurisdiction, we agree the data protection terms that apply to that engagement separately, and we follow them.

11. How to exercise your rights

Write to privacy@dynproindia.com, or to our registered office at the address in Section 2.

Please tell us what you would like us to do, and enough about yourself for us to locate your records. We may need to verify your identity before acting. This protects you, not us.

We will acknowledge your request within 7 working days and respond substantively within 30 days, or sooner where the law requires. There is no charge, unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, in which case we will explain why before doing anything.

12. Other matters

Children. This website is intended for a business audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. As the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 requires, we do not undertake tracking, behavioural monitoring or targeted advertising directed at children, and we do not process children’s data in any way likely to cause them harm. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Automated decision-making. We do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you by automated means alone.

Third-party websites. Our site links to other websites, including www.dynpro.com and our recruitment platform. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.

Changes to this policy. We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed. Where a change is significant, we will make that clear on the website.
